Super Creamy! Just the way I like my water =D
Shot is of some falls in Warburton.
Credit to my Velbone Tripod for being able to manipulate into a solid base on a tiny rock in the middle of the river to take this shot

Thanks mate!
Yeah They are awesome! I Wanted something that was extremely small once folded away (around 30cm), but got a bit above eye level (166cm) in this case)if you wanted it to worth a great versatile head, levels, snap in quick release plate that was well priced.. all seems like a dream no?
Well it's real! It's the Velbone 45L with the PHD-42Q Head, the thing is brilliant, I love the way you extend the legs, they are in 6 sections and you twist the foot to unlock and lock the leg in addition to one section being adjustable vie a band un the top of the leg for crooked surface correction.
It took me a few days to find after some pretty extreme research, surprisingly, I would think it would be more popular, I also only payed $173 for if off ebay which is an absolute steal! I'm pretty sure its actually made in Japan too. it's 19.5cm fully folded so it actually fits in my crumpler 7 million dollar home! A full sized tripod in a camera bag is bloody impressive if you ask me. You can manipulate it in many different ways, even into a macro tripod hanging it upside down! It's feet are very grippy, managed to grip onto a mossy slippery rock somehow. I love it man, it's an awesome piece of engineering

I've got the the Ultra Maxi L which is 3rd smallest in that range, I bought it for a bargain 300 ringits (about A$100) at a photographic expo at Times Square KL, the guy at the velbone stall said they where Japanese (he looked and sounded Japanese himself) he also said they where linked to Tamron but I'm not sure how. I have a LowePro Slingshot and it fits perfectly on the side, I'm trying decide whether to take it up Mt Kinabalu in Oct, there's a a few hours of rock climbing involved (on a via ferrata :D)) and I would hate for it to fall out on someone, there's a hut a can leave it in at the summit base.

Yeah I'm a fan.. Sweet deal man! They are like $160 usually so you did well there. Haha Well funny you mention it, I have to make sure it fits in my bag because I tend to jump barriers and fences to get to photos, leaning Parkour payed off haha. The shots of the streams I took recently I ha to climb up and down a huge barrier, I'd love to go to some rock claimable mountains someday, 2003 was the last time I went rock climbing so I'm a little rusty to say the least =P

Yeah there's not a lot of mountains in Australia  there's lots of adventures to be had in Borneo and it's affordable and close to home, we have direct flights a few times a week. My brother and brother in law have both climbed in Indonesia.
Parkour would be fun, there would also be some awesome photo opurtunities I bet.

I have Mt Hotham at least, but I'm not sure if it's that fun for Rock climbing, lol more a snowboarders dream =P
Well I use it to get to tricky shots, like jump barriers and get on to rooves and stuff, but I can't roll when I have my camera bag so I have to be more careful lol
