A 360 Panoramic HDR of the Tide Out Island of Point Nepean.

This place is only easily accessible while the tide is out, however I got caught out there as the tide started coming back in.

Please be patient, it's about 11MB. The colour will come as it loads.

Thanks very much! Glad you dig it =)
I'm not sure, I just hacked at it until I got it, this is actually my third one of these, first decent one haha.

Well it takes many hours of processing and about 50 photos at 8mm =P
I used PTGUI to stitch the panorama then load the final product into photoshop for processing and finally Pan2VR to make it interactive, I have made a few others but this is the first real success =)

So at first congratulations to your success ;)
At then thanks for your advice... I'm surprised of that 50 photos at 8mm :D Quite much, when the widest lens I have has 18mm :D But I'm about to buy a 8mm fisheye in the near future, so after that I will try to imitate your work =D but anyway - thanks for an inspiration and advices :) Keep up with awesome work!

Hmm I had a look, it was only 39 photos, I have done one with 50 but it was at 16mm lol
Mine is the Sigma 8-16mm, it's great as it's distortions are quite minimal, although for panoramas it doesn't really mater if it's a fisheye, as long as it's not a overly distorted one, which are good for single shot artsy stuff IMO.
My only bug bare with slightly distorted fisheye is when aligning shots of the horizon software can't always figure it out and makes the horizon bendy and non-seamless =(
The 8mm is bad enough as it is haha

Thanks very much again =)

Thanks mate, yeah the others were rubbish, I've leaned you have to oversharpen the pics cos they soften a bit in the VR interaction software.
Glad you like it =D

I really hate when I have to use software other than Adobe Camera Raw or Photoshop. Really srews with the creative process, I think. :blownose:

Yeah I know what you mean, it's a sad truth with this kind of thing, photoshop alone isn't powerful (surprisingly enough) to pull it off on it's own =(
